SPC Private RallyPoint Member 648035 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hey guys, so I've been around 2 instances where an M984A4 had been towing larger vehicles (One Hemmt Cargo and an ASV) in both cases, the right stinger cylinder sheared clean off the mount where it's pivoting on the wrecker. Is this a common problem. One case I was in the cab of the towed vehicle getting into place at H8 school and another while Dropping an ASV to park in the motor pool. Any ideas? Stinger cylinder Issues (Is this a common problem?) 2015-05-07T01:35:05-04:00 2015-05-07T01:35:05-04:00 SGT Randall Dennis 2520789 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>They have been known to break welds mostly do to the vehicle being towed is lifted too high also consider how many people have used that particular vehicle and frequency of the use of the stinger and then factor in each persons ability to operate said equipmeny. Between all of those you can pretty much figure on just about anything happening.
