Ok, so I am stuck at Fort Bliss in a testing unit and have been here for around 3 years. This wouldn't be a bad thing but I have been trying to deploy for the last 6 years. I even rein listed for a rapid deployment duty station and was put in the only non deployable unit here! Does anyone have any advice?

I have approached my PSG and my 1SG but I believe that it stopped with them. Even if the deployments stop I would like to get to an actual line unit. There are no schools or anything for scouts in 1AD 1CAV.

To be clear, your re-enlisted for Fort Bliss? Madness I say.
MSG Q gave good advice in that you should approach your chain of command and see if you can get transferred to a deployable unit. Another option that may be beneficial is to talk to your branch manager.
Honestly though, if you haven't deployed by now your opportunities to do so may have dried up.
