Listen Fellers,
I don't care what the problem is, why you are where you are, or what you are thinking in this current state. If there is any of you guy/gals out there that think that killing yourself is the way to go...PLEASE... Think about what you are doing. Think about the amount of pressure you are putting on yourself. Think about the outcome. and PLEASE call me. I don't do this anywhere else. But we are one big family. If any of ya'll have problems that you need solved or questions that you have or just simply feel like you have no one to turn to. CALL ME. [login to see] That is my personal cell phone number, use it and abuse it! Call me, text me if you need to. Let me know whats going on and I will help you if possible. I may not have all the answers and I may not be the BEST source of advice...but damn it I will try to help you . I will listen if needed and I will be there for you!

Thank you for helping out. I am also available to talk (though you will have to message me for my number), thus not as quick. I've lost enough friends to this. I only wish they knew their true worth.

SSG Siebenaller, thank you for this, I really appreciate the thought behind this offer. Who do you turn to when you need help? There are other groups to turn to one of which is the Veteran's Crisis Line at [login to see] . I have had to use this line a number of times and it is very helpful. I am not trying to detract from your offer. You may hear from me from time to time as I have been diagnosed with PTSD and been suicidal several times. Maybe talking to a new voice at times can help even more. God bless you and thanks again for this offer.

11 years ago, just before Christmas, my mother took her life about 9 months after she had a stroke, because she believed she would never be able to recover, and would be a burden to me an my family.

I also lost a good friend in 2004, who, while deployed, went through an emotional crisis with his wife, and decided to take his own life.

Long before either of those events, I personally witnessed a suicide at a gun store.

Thanks SSG, I attempted suicide in February, although I am much better now, and do not think about suicide, there are times when I do feel overwhelmed, isolated and hopeless.

Surely you were led by God on this post.

SSG Siebenaller, Thank you for offering your assistance to those in need. There are many resources available to those who find themselves in crisis situations but more often than not, those who need it are not sure who to call. This is a situation where there should be 'no wrong door'. We all need to be aware of how to refer these brothers and sisters in arms to the help they need. Again, thank you for your dedication!
