We had issues with Voc. Rehab (unable to contact counselor, delayed or no payments etc) and our SVA chapter was able to link up with other SVAs at universities in the area and get an expose on the local news. After that, the VR&E program went through some changes in our state and I think there has been a much better improvement.

That's serious. I'll look into seeing there are similar trends in my area. Anything else?

We have found a large majority of students don't really want to participate.

Col Rebecca Lorraine - Sounds good. Let me know if you'd like more help with improving your SVA structure. I'm doing videos, system design type stuff, and content management.

Also, it's easier for someone to know when you've replied to a comment if you tag them in the comment.

SGT (Join to see) - Got it. Under this web site I have copied is our veteran and military link. CW4 Robert Murphy is our link to the university. They employed him to create a veteran support center. It's pretty cool. We have a lounge, computers and free printing. All donated resources. http://web.usca.edu/.

I have ups and downs with them, but last weekend I attended the Leadership Summit in DC and it was a great time and experience. In terms of chapter business, we have a struggle with the standard recognition because we're an online school. But I know most of the upper management and their cool people.

Stay in touch with them regularly. Make sure they know your chapters business and acknowledge it.
