You will not go through boot camp, but you will need to go through receiving in order to complete the necessary paperwork, and get your uniforms. If you're going to the Reserves, you will have to wait until you get to your unit. The Supply Sergeant from the Reserve unit should issue you your first set. I switched over and had to go to OUST. Got my uniforms during reception before I started training. Be ready for a culture shock; if you go to a combat arms MOS, though it might be an easier transition as combat arms tend to be oriented to a more disciplined existence. Experiences vary however. Good luck! You will go to AIT as an MOS-T and be issued uniforms there. If you retain your MOS you will get them at your first unit.
As for the transition over it's really how you make it. Just remember it's a different atmosphere and you'll definitely have to adjust your language. There are pros and cons in both branches. Just try to embrace the Army values and learn everything you can about it. I've seen many Marines come over and bad mouth it or be stuck in the Marine elitist mentality, if you have it you'll have to set it aside in order to be successful.
