Or do I need to go 11X? There's not a lot of information available on the process of MOST for infantry. Also what are some key points a recruiter won't mention about this mos?? Switching mos from 92Y to 11C , any info to drop? 2022-01-10T15:46:11-05:00 PFC Private RallyPoint Member 7468086

I'm looking to go from supply to mortars. I did it in 1975, I really don't know the system now. a lot of gear to hump around if your not track mounted. Also I’m not sure about the 11x thing but your retention NCO should be able to give you some answers. If you go through with this be ready to go back to basic training because most people that reclassified when I was going through started over at day 0 with us new guys. Good luck. I myself am 11 Charlie and I've been out for 12 years. the unbearable back pain that I suffer on a minute to minute basis is ridiculous. yes, be prepared to ruck the mother fucking shit out of your goddamn feet. If you are carrying a base plate and your rucksack be prepared for having it jammed into your back every time you take a step, if you've got tootsie rolls, (if you don't know what that is you'll surely know as soon as you start AIT ((because yes, you will have to start basic training all over again from Day zero in Fort Benning, Sand Hill, sitting at 30th AG until you're cycled into a platoon for 13 weeks and 6 days of mother fuck)) those bitches don't really weigh a lot except for if you get 81mm and have to carry 6 or 7... then that fucking sucks. If you get the cannon you have to strap that mother fucker across your shoulders on your ruck. You end up looking like Jesus Christ on the Cross running through the woods; swinging dick, trench foot, and wicked bad gas from the motherfucking powdered eggs. I highly advise you do not run in between two trees less than 4 feet fucking apart under any motherfucking circumstances... you will close line the mother fucking shit out of yourself, land on your motherfucking ass and become the butt of every motherfucking joke until motherfucking graduation day. I'm motherfucking speaking from personal experience my dumb Forrest gump retarded ass. Goddamn if its not bad enough to do that dumb shit once i did it motherfucking twice... On the same day.... Maybe 25-30 motherfucking minutes later because i didn't enjoy it enough the first motherfucking time. That being said I miss the goddamn infantry every mother fucking day of my mother fucking life and I would God damn do it again in a heartbeat without a second thought right now just because I did it once and earned my blue cord and I know I can do it again and I enjoyed every last minute of it through all the pain, the tears, the laughter and the motherfucking jokes. The brotherhood that I gained is irreplaceable and a lot of my brothers are now dead but the memories are well alive.

I am relentless, I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME! HOOAH!!!
