Syria "no fly zone." Are we are all missing the most critical issue here?

Regardless of political persuasion, the recent calls for a "no-fly-zone" in Syria should be a serious wake up call for all of us in uniform. What is patently clear is that those clamoring the loudest for a "no-fly-zone" seem to have the least amount of understanding of what such an action would actually require. How many of us remember what it takes to establish and maintain a NFZ? Keeping in mind of course, our previous effort was against a toothless Iraq, not a near peer like Russia...
