Fox’s Andrea “Punch” Tantaros is not happy that two women have graduated from U.S. Army’s Ranger School and that now women will be able to try out to become Navy SEALs.

“I’m all for female empowerment,” Tantaros claimed, “and I think females should be everywhere and I believe in equality and all those things, but there seems to be this sense that men can’t have anything to themselves anymore. They’re, like, kicking down the doors like golf clubs and Navy SEALs, like, we have to be everywhere in the name of empowerment. “

Tantaros began arguing with her Fox News cohost, Julie Roginsky, who supports the changes. “And it’s not always about the women, Julie. You’re like, ‘Why should we care about the men?’ Because we should care about how these male SEALs feel! It’s not always about the women.”

Rogsinky disagreed. “No, because if the women can compete on an equal physical footing with the men…”

Tantaros cut her off. “It’s not about their competition, Julie. It’s how the people that they’re fighting next to feel as well. You have to factor that in.”

”OK, …well, then, those people should get over it,” Roginsky shot back. She compared the situation to golf clubs that wanted to exclude African Americans. It’s not a matter of “‘Oh, I’m sorry,’ they didn’t want to hurt their feelings,” Roginsky said. "It’s the same way you told a bunch of men that... didn’t want women playing in their golf clubs.”

Tantaros didn’t seem to have an answer for that. So she changed the subject. “I don’t see men ever trying to bust into our all girls spas,” she countered.

”You know what? They should. They should; the more the merrier. Come on in,” Roginsky replied.

Okay I never thought I would see a women take that position. That argument is invalid though. Women. Form other contract serve in combat arms positions. Also women serve with in the the Special operation community already not as operators but as support. A female medic was killed along side Green Berets as she ran into the fight to tend to the wonder men. I'm sure if she was alive she would have some word so say. I wonder if she sing the same tune if she was back when women had no rights at all. I mean could not even get a divorce or vote.

I believe in equality but nowadays minority speaks louder in the voice of the media generally speaking. My issue is, Physically can a women carry a wounded 200+ lb soldier, sailor, airman or marine out of the battlefield? That's my only concern. if they can than I'm 100% behind allowing women in elite special operations positions.

There are differences between men and women, however, when it's state sponsored the playing field needs leveling. That said, the apft needs to be standard across the board. Either lower the standards or make the females compete in pt at the male hence one standard army standard. However, in private such as fraternity clubs and such there needs to be the right to choose. In this respect the pc crowd needs to back off.

I'm confused by the argument "if they can do it then it's ok to let them". So why do we have men's and women's sports if we are equal. For comparison here is a chart of Olympic Track/Field records. 21 events covering the highest scores, not one female score or time is better than a males. And we have to assume that these are the best trained athletes as they are at the Olympics.
