What I am trying to do is TDY in Route and clear my current unit before my school date. But if you are in a recruitng battalion you know we really dont have a S-1. My report date to Hawaii is March 10th 2015, which leaves me taking 41 days of leave. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SGT Alexander<br /><br />You should be able to do TDY en route, if you don't have an S-1 talk to your branch manager or whoever takes care of your PCS orders, they can put it in there, and also talk to your TDY people for your 1610

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you can get "early reporting authorized" on your orders, you are able to report up to 60 days prior to the official report date. Then you wouldn't have to take a bunch of leave; just take 20-30 or whatever and report in February.
