The market was really not feasible to but a house, instead we rented. I will let you know other fellow recruiters did buy a house, but had a very tough time selling it when the 3yr tour was up. In fact they lost money. The only person who can decide if it is worth it or not, is you.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 27 at 2014 5:20 PM2014-06-27T17:20:43-04:002014-06-27T17:20:43-04:00CPO Private RallyPoint Member171688<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Even permanent recruiters transfer. I used VA loan to buy a house at previous NRD & have successfully rented it out for the previous 5 years. I do plan to retire at that location. Basically you must weigh the financial obligation if you move & can't sell or rent it, will you be able to survive financially? Bad debt can effect a security clearance. So in my case yes it was worth it.Response by CPO Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 6 at 2014 8:49 AM2014-07-06T08:49:28-04:002014-07-06T08:49:28-04:002014-06-27T06:45:08-04:00
