Temporary wear of Unit Awards: Does a soldier wear them to a court-martial or not?

Why wouldn't they? It is part of the uniform- are they the prisoner or just going (witness, etc.) Until proven guilty if that SM is assigned to that unit, then they should wear them.

Since they are temporary, in this particular situation I do not feel it matters if they are worn or not.

The SM is still assigned to the unit during the court martial so they should still wear them as part of the uniform.
What is making you think otherwise?

I believe your question has been answered already, if the awards were authorized to be worn normally he/she wears them on their uniform. From personal experience anyone siting in on the courts Martial is not going to care about awards on his/her uniform. In my "OPINION", based upon what I have seen first hand depending on which Court Martial is being tried, they will be looking at what the charges are and the defense being used to defend the Soldier. Everyone on the Jury and the judge has read the personnel file already and Bling will only count during the sentencing portion if the prosecutors case is weak.

The defendant is still a member of the unit to which the award was awarded, yes? If he's still on the alpha-roster, then yes.
