Thanks to all the Veterans who have served and ultimately made the ultimate sacrifice. Thanks to all past and present Veterans for my freedom in America (freedom is not free). I am proud to have served with all in defending Duty, Honor and Country for the United States of America.
This is my last year on Active Duty after 25 years, but it will be nice to leave my legacy as a Veteran for a lifetime and a pleasure to have served with all, what a noble act for mankind.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Thank you. My best friend serves at Fort Hood, as a civilian now, and is also retired. I loved my service at Fort Hood. Seems strange retrospectively, but the "Hood" was good to me.

Thank you for your years of service, the sacrifices you have made, and for this post.
