That is unacceptable. Sometimes these things can be faded into obscurity this way. Certainly couldn't hurt.

If that doesn't work, replace them. Sucks, but that's life sometimes.

Oh yeah...and find a new drycleaner.

EDIT:

The reason hand scrubbing sometimes helps is two-fold:

- Sometimes the "burn" isn't burned material or threads...it's starch used in pressing the uniform. Or it might simply be dirt. Either way, hand scrubbing many times will remove such marks.

- Sometimes the "burn" is superficial in nature to the threads/material. In other words, it may must be a light burning of threads/material. Sometimes hand scrubbing will caused the burned portions to be scrubbed away. I had a place add service stripes to my uniform and when they removed the old pair they put a small hole in the sleeve. It was barely noticeable but it was still a flaw so I spoke to the owner and they bought me a new jacket. If they resist inform them that you could ask your CoC to place the dry cleaner on a list of businesses that service members are forbidden to patronize. That should do it. You should hold them accountable for their actions.

You have a job, and everyone expects you to do it well, right?. The dry cleaners have a job as well. Why should they not be held to the same expectation? Response by SGM Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 12 at 2017 5:46 AM 2017-08-12T05:46:07-04:00 2017-08-12T05:46:07-04:00 2017-08-06T20:47:24-04:00
