The importance of this day https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/the-importance-of-this-day

Had
an odd moment when I got into the car at Wal-mart. it was 11:11 local
time. It made me think about the fact that 95 years ago on the 11th
hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month the world was finally at peace.
At the time the War to end all Wars was finally over, people thought
that the brutality and destruction that the world saw would be enough
that nobody would ever fight a war again. Unfortunately about 21 years
later an even bigger more destructive sequel was unleashed upon the
world that included unspeakable acts of horror that hopefully will never
be repeated. Thankfully the spirit of men who answered their country's
call who were willing to sacrifice everything for their country lives on
in the men and women who are still willing to answer the call to serve
and guard their country from all threats. They are why we celebrate
Veterans' Day/Armistice Day.

Thank you to everyone who served before me, with me, and those now serving.
Mon, 11 Nov 2013 15:02:43 -0500 The importance of this day https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/the-importance-of-this-day

Had
an odd moment when I got into the car at Wal-mart. it was 11:11 local
time.
