I don't feel it. Maybe it doesn't apply to me, or maybe I'm different now. When I joined, I was ready to be and do anything. Now I'm almost content to work at my small job and just go home. But I did not go to war. So, I suppose that growth the general was referring to didn't happen for me. I'm no victim, but I'm no proud veteran, either.
