The perfect answers to 10 common job interview questions

We're going to skip over the obvious job interview questions, such as "Why do you want this job?" or "What do you know about Company X?" Most likely, those will make the cut, and you should come prepared with succinct, descriptive answers that don't over-embellish.

But those simple openers are the "warm up" questions that get you into interview mode—and you should use them as such (think succinct answers to succinct questions). It's the trickier job interview questions you might encounter that we're covering today, and they'll require thinking about the whole interview a little differently.

As you prepare, we want you to shift your perspective: you're going to prepare answers for certain categories rather than to actual questions.

Interviews are conducted by various people within the organization, typically HR and re recruiting have a narrow focus and in some cases they have a series of questions, the real decision maker will not have a script and is looking for more than minimum qualifications, as a seasoned SVP, I was the final decision maker for all key Management positions at a field office, honestly I appreciated a " bold applicant" however, I didn't appreciate the ones blowing smoke and attempting to BS me as they did with some manager earlier in process, a skilled interviewer will ask the probing questions to trip up a lying applicant while rooting out skill sets, work ethic etc., often for 6 figure Sr. Mgr level positions, the applicant would go through a gauntlet of interviews,
final candidate is assigned to a comprehensive background check and I've seen high quality applicants go down in flames during screening process for positive drug test, false application, criminal convictions etc. In these cases the process starts all over again unless the second highest rated candidate is considered

My Brother-In-Law Owns an International Business Here in Green Bay Wisconsin... They were looking for 5 people to work in their CNC division. Five Axis CNC Machines....!!! So 3 out of 5 Interviewed could not answer the following question correctly. How Much is one half of one half an inch? No SERIOUSLY.... They got it wrong....
