With a decade of war and many deployments, I don't think service members ever made so much money especially with bonuses too. Lately Ive seen Marines driving brand new Lotus's and Porsches, riding custom bikes, rare classic cars, monster trucks, and highly modified tuners.

My 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ. I bought it brand new when I came back stateside after 6 years in Germany. It's not much, but it's mine and I will have it forever. By far, it is the most "functional" and reliable truck I have ever owned.

Two daily drivers shared between myself and wife, 2014 Chevy Spark EV and 2013 Toyota Prius V.

Who ever has the kids, drives the Prius. The other gets the all electric vehicle.

The Prius is stupid spacious since we got the wagon and the electric vehicle is the best commuter and is fun with 400lb ft of torque.

2006 Pontiac GTO (slightly modified). Bought it in 2009 while at SLC in Eustis. Have always wanted one and can't think of not having it anymore. Best part was taking it to Germany and tearing up the autobahn for 18 months a 160+ mph.

This is my baby, "Frank" (Castle...The Punisher). Its a 2008 Dodge Charger R/T R&T. Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl with Matte Black racing stripes and Cuda Stripes. Hes sitting on 20X8.5 Gino Chrome 5 Spoke rims in the summer with Hankook Ventus V12 tires. 350hp at the crank with 390Ftlbs of torque. Top speed is 143MPH (governed), and even here in Germany, has had its fair share of kills, my best being an M3 on A7 between Wurzburg and Ansbach.

My latest car is a Honda Civic but I make racing sounds when I drive. Corvettes fear me.

My dad however built or help build the -#577 which ran at the Chemung Speedrome in Chemung, NY.

The 2L 410 Sprint car pushes 900 HP and is the current alltime winner in Western PA. Jean Lynch and I have worked at the Nationals in Tampa for over 25 years. She, her husband and son are in the Sprint Car Hall of Fame.

I drive Frankencar, a Saturn SL-2 that I bought new in 1996. It now has 318,000 miles. It has been paid off for 12 years. It is now worth $400 which means it costs me only 17 bucks a year in registration fees and taxes and is ridiculously cheap to insure. My wife has had three cars die in the interim but Frankencar will not die.

Just last year I replaced the tape deck.

My 2003 Z06 during my last auto-x race a couple weeks back. she is far from stock, putting down 470hp/416tq to the rear wheels. Very fun and fast car.

Well first it was my brandy new 08 Sonata then a year ago some AlphaHotel ran a stop sign. After they totaled it and I got the insurance money I moved into a 2012 Elantra. Then another AlphaHotel pulled a hit and run on me in a parking lot so now I'm seriously considering a Stryker. MPG may suck but it has that subtle "Keep the f--k away from my car" attraction that I can't resist.

right now i have a 2006 gsxr 1000 bored and strokes to a 1072 w/60 shot of N2O and yoshimura stage 2 cams and headwork. my old project was a royal blue 79 l82 c3 vette with a 468 BBC/th400 with 630 hp. sold the old vette to start on a more street version so i got a white l82 c3 vette 383 stroker/700r4. I'm gonna de-tune it from it's current 11/1 compression to 9/1 so I can run a 144 weiand roots charger.

My old 2009 cobalt lt nicknamed "Loki" isfirst loved it just picked up the 2014 cruze lt nicknamed "Loki" as wellit's nice paying it off sucks but I love the car great milage and the turbo is fun to play with as well. Both called Loki because I joke around a lot and figured my cars match my attitude.

My daily as a 2011 Mazda 3 but my other vehicle is a 1992 Nissan 240sx coupe( s13/ s chassis) and its RWD. It is equipped with a Japanese domestic motor known as the Sr20det of which the United State was the only country the S chassis did not come with a turbo charged engine. Instead, the government told Nissan to put the KA24DE which is a 2.4 NA engine of which my s13 originally came with when I purchased it used for $2300 a few years ago. Much of my vehicle is not stock such as the engine as previously stated. The suspension is 100% aftermarket and adjustable except for the lower control arms front and rear. Originally, the car came with automatic sliding seat belts which have been upgrade to a new year of the 240sx (1995 - 1998 models). The seats are NRG reclining racing seats. I have a Nardi steering wheel mated to an NRG quick release hub. Even the rear diff is out of a J30 Infinity sedan to give it a limited slip diff and it is equipped with 3.91 gears. I have a lot of new parts to install including an electronic turbo timer/ boost controller. I actually went to a junk yard and spent 8 hours extracting an entire AC system to a 1994 model as well to install in my s13. The picture of the entire car and is pre engine swap, and I no longer have the sticker on the driver side popup head light cover.

Yes, I love my 2015 F250. Living in Alaska I find having a truck to be almost a necessity. And for a Super Duty it is getting 13.3 MPG during the winter when the mileage usually goes down. Very happy with my truck.

Haha, you must be talks about E6 and above driving around in a Lotus or a single Marine that comes from money. I was doing good to make ends meet with a wife, 2 kids, and one truck payment (a very low payment I might add)on an old 2001 F150. And all of this was as a Cpl. Unless the pay scale has changed a lot since I got out in 2012 I didn't see any abundance of Mariens driving high dollar vehicles, except those few that were in long enough to get a couple of those long gone $30K+ re-enlistment bonuses they used to give out. But here are my rides. They may be old, but they get the job done. Well, the Ford does anyway, that Dodge is leaving as soon as I graduate and get a career going.

This isnt the first car that I've owned, and being just a PFC it definitely isn't the fastest on the road, but it's mine and i take extreme care in my 2012 Ford Mustang. These are some older pics from about two months ago, i have since installed a billet grille and smoked the taillights.
