The Supreme Court and Senate are definitely in play. What other high stakes issues do you see as being impacted by the Presidential election?

I fear the potential loss of the United States as the bastion of personal liberty, economic opportunity, and a nation based on the rule of law. The US may continue to exist as a country for a few more decades, but it will give away its world leadership under a President Clinton. Two more liberal Supreme Court Justice will allow successful attacks on the Second Amendment, religious freedom, and unlimited power to the Executive. Continued politics of division and character assassination will further divide the country resulting in the disintegration of domestic law and order and open warfare among identity groups. By 2023 this will allow President Clinton to declare martial law and seize powers far greater than those FDR exercised during WWII. The 2024 election will be postponed pending the outcome of State voting on repeal of the 22nd Amendment (term limits for the President). The Democrat House and Senate having passed the repeal in 2023. President (for life) Hillary Clinton dies in office at the age of 89 in 2036.

Ultimately, every election is a test of We the People and our ability to govern ourselves, a test that we have been failing miserably in the past couple of decades. We have been electing and reelecting the worst among us to govern us. We are ceding our Natural/God-given right to govern ourselves in exchange for trinkets. We are surrendering our rights in exchange for freedom from responsibility for the consequences of our choices and our actions. And as we fail, our nation fails. Whomever wins, Hillary or Donald, We lose and We end up with precisely the government we deserve. I can only hope that there are enough copies of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution lying around in libraries and attics that someone someday might find them and be inspired to bring them back. Sadly, they will judge us harshly for trashing them.
