There is a Soldier wearing OCP with UCP patches on and cannot find it on paper to help this individual look right. Can anyone assist please?

Is this an issue with being able to afford the patches? Or something else?

As far as I'm tracking, the ONLY UCP patch items that are authorized with OCP uniform wear are UCP patches (name, rank, U.S. Army) on the gray fleece jacket. The gray fleece can be worn with the OCPs but ONLYh the UCP patches and vice versa if you possess the coyote brown fleece.

SFC Private RallyPoint Member although my Unit Supply Room runs completely different to most units, in my office, S4, we ordered the new OCP patches for the whole BN. Soldiers just have to come and ask for one, we would update his Soldier Issue File and that's it. Those who spent money on their patches were before we got our order in, or didn't know we have them.

ALARACT 086/2015 (which expired 15 MAY 2016) directed G-1 to incorporate it in DA PAM 670-1 (10 APRIL 2015) NLT 1 JULY 2015. They did on 25 May 2017, which now says that the U.S. Army insignia and the nametape must be of a "camouflage pattern that matches the uniform." Whereas the ALARACT specified "INSIGNIA AND ACCOUTERMENTS" must match, the DA PAM which supersedes the expired ALARACT only restricts the US ARMY and nametape. There is no such restriction for unit or combat patches other than they must be "subdued."
