It is much more accurate and reliable than the pig. It is just as easy to disassemble and maintain if not easier and, it will continue to fire reliably if it gets dirty/no time to change the barrel, etc.

I was brought up on the M60 as well but, they did it right when they built the 240. We used the 240, and the goal was to see who could not only hit, but move a stone in a direction chosen by the other...I can't be certain of range this many years later. I ended up "winning" because after we both moved our respective stones, more of mine's "mass" remained intact-LOL LCDR Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 21 Aug 2015 07:52:38 -0400 2015-08-21T07:52:38-04:00 Response by MAJ John Adams made Sep 10 at 2015 2:45 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/there-still-should-be-a-few-old-salts-left-here-m-60-or-240-b-which-do-you-prefer?n=956256&urlhash=956256

I guess I'm too old of a salt, since I've never handled the 240-B, just the M-60.
