I challenge all branches to find their famous people as well? Add them see which one has the most famous people. My pick is a hard one due to the fact you have so many that are actors. Growing up it was Cpt. Kangaroo, at one time Gene Hackman, Then Harvey Keitel. I have three more but they are not listed here. I will wait till they pop up. One hint is "Get Smart", "Cat Ballou" and last is, "Full Metal Jacket"

SPC Americo Garcia Very interesting, I will get back to you, but off the top of my head, Audie L. Murphy became really famous in his own right after WW2. He was in movies, wrote country music and poems. If it wasn't for a unfortunate plane crash, he would of have had a really successful Hollywood career.

EddieAlbert (Green Acres) was at Tarawa. He was awarded the Bronze Star for rescuing American soldiers during the Battle of Tarawa while under heavy gunfire in 1943. He also lost a portion of his hearing from the noise of the battle. Good luck finding any of our 'celebrities' these days doing anything other than promoting themselves for more money.
