If you are an outgoing person with tons of initiative I would suggest 35M. If you are more reserved or have a type B personality you might be happier as a 35F. Have you considered dropping a packet for 35L? That job requires lots of writing and you must be a people person. You have a degree, you can pursue warrant or officer commissioning route with MI as preference. Good luck in your pursuits. The work enviroment depends on where you are stationed. In a tactial unit be ready for alot of physical security inspections and processing security clearance packets. At the stragetic level I do alot of reading and building powerpoints for briefings. But the clearance that you get is awesome for jobs in the civilian sector. You can work at the company level, or all the way up to Corps. Tactical you will be doing lots of field analog training, Strategic you will be doing a lot of research and writing. I help a lot with my OIC's full time position during drill for whatever briefings he needs to prepare. I'll be 100% honest in saying that your skills you gain during AIT will become rusty, you'll (I hate to say never) barely if at all use them. I think I have a pretty cool MOS but it sucks that I don't get to actually do what I was trained to do, at all. I can tell you that mainly we do paperwork and security clearances. It's all desk work, when deployed we actually do our job of IPB. It's the process used to find predictability of the enemy and make suggestions to the unit commander of which course/routes/targeted individuals to take and what the enemies next move will be. 35F is a all source analyst. We take information from every Intel based job and press it into a big picture like a puzzle.

35M is the humint. They deal with people and collect Intel based on personal communication with people. It's real time Intel, but you'll be required to learn a foreign language. They are kind of like public relations for the army with populations, but their primary focus is to collect information about enemy targets and report it back to the 35Fs.
