I'm passing this on so we don't forget what we bring to any company's table and why they want veterans working for them.

If you want to get great assignments and projects or be promoted into higher-level jobs, you’ll need to do things that make you stand out from others (in a good way).Question: I’m facing a problem at work. I'm later on in my career - much closer to retirement than to beginning, and the advice from Lisa Quast is as valid for me today as it was on day one, back in 1975. I see it playing out every day at my current workplace. I could have written the note that prompted Lisa's reply, in fact, but I know the differences and the points she makes. I just need to implement them.

Thanks for sharing an excellent reminder for anyone, no matter where they are in their career.Response by CW5 Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 13 at 2015 1:27 PM2015-02-13T13:27:48-05:002015-02-13T13:27:48-05:002015-02-13T11:35:11-05:00
