I don't watch or read anything about Vietnam and I don't think I'm missing out on anything. I do however have three Vietnamese friends. Neither of us talk about the war. They came over on the boats and are successful business men. He was with the US Embassy in Saigon as a Staff Sergeant. Plus he was mariied with one kid. I don't know how he pulled this out, but he did. Wife and all. I met him at 29 Palms MCB in 1975. I was over there attached to RLT-4, from 12th Marines at Camp Haugue. General Al Gray was in Command of the 4th Regiment at that time. I think. I was a Corporal then.
