I don't want to be a scrooge by asking this. I don't know why but it seems that the Christmas Spirit this year lacks. Fewer houses than I can ever remember have Christmas lights up. Stores don't seem to have the same cheer. Even the streets that used to be decorated so beautifully are a fraction of the way they were in years past. Is it just because I am getting old and not noticing things like I did years ago? It just seems dull to me this year.

Folks have decorated up nice in NW TN. We didn't go hog wild at end of dead end road, but I see the spirit all over this way.

There's actually way more houses with lights in my neighborhood this year than the last two year's I've lived here in my housing area. Someone's house looks like Christmas threw up on it.
Stores are probably different since they have guidelines to go by. Some have been closed for months.
I did what I always do. Put up the fake tree, decorate. Sent family presents since we couldn't go anywhere.

I think Covid-19 has diminished many folks sprites with all the restrictions.
