Just months after he was released early from jail and being court-ordered to attend a batterers program, this TSgt was selected for promotion to Master Sergeant. He was since promoted two more times. How did he stay in the Air Force and continue to get promoted with a criminal record?

Before everyone starts yelling EPR inflation, we all know the boards at that point expect "firewall fives." How do you get 5 blocks checked when you missed almost two weeks of work because you were in jail? Where was the UIF?
I may think you are the best Airman to serve since Hap Arnold, and be Curtis Lemay reincarnated, but a conviction can't slide. The chain of command failed at that point. I just wonder how many may have missed the cut off point for promotion and should petition the BCMR?
