SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member6198730<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm one year into a three year assignment so I got a little time before I can do anything, but that's where my question comes in. Right now I'm an E-5 promotable. I read on the PYSOP recruiting page that you have to be E-4 or E-5 non-promotable, however on the Army Retention In/Out Calls for 37F it has a Y under In for E-4, E-5, and E-6. So my question is, do I need to have my promotable status removed and stay an E-5 in order to be considered for selection or am I able to still get promoted to E-6 while I'm in this unit (if I pick up) and still be ok? I'm ok with whatever route I need to take, I'm just curious as to what's the right answer. To be considered for 37F selection, do I need to have my promotable status removed or am I able to still get promoted to E-6?2020-08-12T08:07:38-04:00SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member6198730<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm one year into a three year assignment so I got a little time before I can do anything, but that's where my question comes in. A few years ago we were taking in E-5 promotable’s along with individuals whom had already pinned E-6. But things change so find the nearest recruiter.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 12 at 2020 8:22 PM2020-08-12T20:22:07-04:002020-08-12T20:22:07-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member6255572<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Reach out to a SORB recruiter and they will be able to tell you for sure the current application guidelinesResponse by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 28 at 2020 9:00 PM2020-08-28T21:00:53-04:002020-08-28T21:00:53-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member6257326<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I just got my waiver approved to go back to POAS as an E-5(P) this past Wednesday; I'll be in the September class.
