I think it was, but have forgotten what it's like. I'm still here but the America that the Constitution described has fundamentally changed. Sad...

The Constitution hasn't fundamentally changed. What has changed is that respect for it has dwindled dramatically. It is now something to be ignored when inconvenient, and arbitrarily reinterpreted when the original intent and original words don't fit a certain agenda.

The interpretation of the constitution has fundamentally changed, terrorist watch list now being used to deprive citizens of rights, rancher's militia in Oregon, Gun control executive action. These are all normal issues for countries that don't have a 4th and 5th Amendment. Sadly the constitution isn't adhered to.

I would actually disagree. I don't consider our Constitution a privilege but a right.

It's only a right if you are a U.S. Citizen it is a privilege for non-citizens. It is also a right that can be taken away. The constitution itself isn't a right, it doesn't grant any rights, it limits the powers of the Government.

Agree. There are so many countries out there that have used our constitution as a guide to write their own, I know for a fact over 20 have tried to emulate it.
