And does your family support you with your busy schedule? To my fellow vetrepreneurs...how much time do you spend a day on your business? 2014-08-01T15:57:00-04:00 PO1 Danilo Banta 191809

Just curious how much time you take in your business? If you have the kind of family that supported you during military deployments, then you probably have a family that would support you as an entrepreneur. Working at home on bidding, billing, payroll, etc. on Sundays and late evenings was the norm.
In the long run, that's why I made the decision to back it down and go to work for someone else. What I make in the workplace is equal to or slightly higher than the "owner benefit" was with my company, and with a whole lot less hours and headaches.

With that being said, I would never discourage doing it yourself, just don't go in blind. Understand that you will have to bust your butt to make it work, and the harder you push, the better it works.
