I am more than a little shocked that I responded on this question at all. I suppose I did so purely due to the topic. However, now that I look a little more closely I realize how much RP really has changed In a very short time. I actually just responded to a question posed by a civilian. Not just a civilian; but one with no photo who identified themselves as "anonymous" and basically has next to nothing on their profile. Honestly, I find myself amazed at the rather dramatic swing things have taken. This is not a shot at you personally. This is more a matter of me addressing the degree of amazement I found in this one.

I attended a ceremony with firefighters, Police, and veteran organizations. Then returned to my wifes hospital room. (she will come home in a few days. )

I attended Cath. services at the newly canonized (sainted) St. Teresa of Calcutta Church as well as a Unitarian Universalist service at a Muslim Mosque.

Watched the festivities being held at some of the football match ups. Especially those disrespecting our flag and national anthem. OK, snarky, but what would you expect?
