Anytime you have any other but squeaky clean RE code it will take waivers. These regs change constantly based on funding, strength size, etc. Only recruiter is current on this and will have the paperwork necessary to start. If he gets the go from his command, you would have to write a detailed letter of what exactly happened and why you were discharged from service. From that step you will have to get approved by the ASO (Accession Suitability Office) since it was a discharge related to misconduct. Depending on them if you are approved and not denied they would forward your packet up to the Army Recruiting Office and they would have the final say so on whether they will accept you back in or not.
