Treatment of Vietnam Veterans: Should there be a special Holiday?

yes we have memorial day and then of course 9-11....However you always hear Vietnam Vets talk about how terrible that they were treated by citizens that they were fighting for. I propose that there should be a special recognized day for Vietnam Veterans....What are your thoughts?

As much as I love any holiday that will let me have a day off, I don't see the need for another holiday for veterans. We already have memorial and veteran's day

Any day that we can celebrate and remember our service and that of our brothers & sisters is a good day. Personally I have 365 of them a year because there is not a day that goes by where something doesn't remind me of those days.

The way the Vietnam Vets was treated was disgusting, but I don't think there should be any special holiday. I think just recognizing their service and sacrifice is enough. GOD BLESS OUR VIETNAM VETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
