Trump acknowledges Russian "meddling" in tweet criticizing Obama

Very well said LTC, anyone who reads the newspapers can't take all what is posted at face value. Anyone who excepts or trust any newspapers, an individual, a superficial articles, or national TV news and believe it without solid proof has to be nuts. Do not be credulous and believe all you hears at face value. There needs to be solid proof, investigations, and verification of any allegations. Common sense will take you a long ways but if you believe everything you hear or read, you are really in big trouble. Facts are facts and bullshit is just that bullshit! You can't be credulous or gullible and believe or except everything you hear, read or are told! Always look for the real facts and the truth!! Most Politicians I believe are not honest and are in politics for the money. Find me an honest politician and I will give you a mansion in the middle of the desert with an ocean front view!

I do think the mainstream new media reports news with much less bias than other outlets that have a point of view to sell. The mainstream has a history of doing so whereas the newer media outlets focus on particular demographics and therefore slant the stories to some degree. I also think the mainstream generally report stories using the same facts so that creates sort of a self-checking mechanism. Some of the other outlets clearly have a slant/bias. Relative to the comment about politicians all being dishonest, realize they also have a demographic to satisfy so they pander to that demographic. They will all suck up to those who will keep them in office. My issue with that is attaching themselves to a politician that is clearly dishonest just to gain favor for that politician's supporters. To me, that's a lack of integrity - a pass/fail in my view. I'm sure some will disagree with my perception, and that's okay - that's why its my opinion.

SPC Kevin Ford It seems your memory is short. Obama was in office for 8 years. The entire hacking by Russia, FISA warrants, elections crisis, all of that occurred during Obama's admin. Trump wasn't even President when the Democrats began accusing him of fixing the election. Obama supporters filled the ranks of intelligence officials and supposedly non partisan government positions who began reporting confidential or false information to hurt the Trump admin. After 6 months in office, he is finally getting some trusted individuals into these offices where he can receive information that is believable

Apparently you haven't read Pompeo's statements. He said he has allotted a certain amount of time each day and he frequently goes over that time. He also said Trump asks a lot of questions about the intelligence.
As for confidence, Obama supposedly received frequent intelligence briefings and he still made many mistakes on ISIS, Russia, the elections, Benghazi, etc. He was either very incompetent, his intelligence network was incompetent, or he played Democrat politics too much by refusing to acknowledge anything that hurt his base.
