Trump calls for U.S. ground troops in Iraq

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said that the United States should send ground troops into Iraq to fight the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) and use funds from seized oil fields to pay for veteran's services.

"You go and knock the hell out of the oil, take back the oil," he said on Sunday during an interview with Meet the Press. "We're going to have so much money."
What are your thoughts? You know, if The Donald keeps this up, I might have to vote for him. (But that's just my thoughts)

I think it's long past time that we had a President who thought this way. Our country has been reactive when it should have be proactive. I hope whoever our next POTUS is, he will have that "go-getter" attitude !!

He failed to go to Nam, but he will send the children of others.....I might get in trouble for this but.... F*** Trump, he is not a leader and if he gets the nomination, well we are all screwed. Getting press because he says what others won't. Where is the GOP leadership, why is this "Hair Piece" making them all look stupid.

I don't really understand why everybody keeps saying this guy is a breath of fresh air, seems like a politician to me; he is a master of self-promotion, and talking. Like it or not Hillary Clinton is laying out plans of how she proposes to administer the federal government, while this guy is proposing that we invade Iraq, and the oil will pay for it... I don't know if anybody realizes that this is not a particularly fresh idea
