Trying To Re-enlist, will I have to redo BCT and AIT?

As a veteran and have not served in almost 10yrs, will I be asked to redo BCT and AIT? (eventhough I am already certified as a 92f and completed successfully both bct and ait)

If you have been out over 5 years you are required to go through refresher training which normally includes basic all over again and AIT, even though you have already been, so yes.

Double check with your local recruiter to verify, since I haven't been in recruiting for 7+ years.

The same thing happened to my college roommate. He didn't Re Up in the Guard and then a few years later he got laid off from his Teaching job and he enlisted. So he had to go to basic training and AIT again. He said it was much easier the second time because you already know what to do and how the game works. The Drills had him teach the new guys a lot of stuff and it was a good chance for him to get back in shape. He also got to change MOS and he was very happy with his new job.

He also liked how he was older and had more awards than his Drill.
