We got in on the wrong side of this fight and dare I say, our actions in the Middle East are in a large part responsibile for the creation of ISIS. We can achieve great success against them if we simply quit caving to political correctness and call out their terrorism for what it is. We will never win if we keep electing terrorist sympathizers and putting them in the White House.

The world is waking up, albeit a bit late, to the scourge blighting the Earth, which is Islam. I still think we have not gone past the tipping point. Once the world sees Islam for what it is, it will lose its appeal. Sadly, it appeals mostly to the ignorant and uneducated because it offers simple solutions to their problems and an easy ticket to heaven, that can turn a complete loser into a martyr and hero.

==========================================================

This topic was merged with a survey which asked who was to blame for the violence:
a) Christianity
b) Muslims
c) Terrorist Muslims
d) New York Yankees

I would say b) only because if you listen to Muslims, they will tell you there is no such thing as moderate Islam. Our actions in the Middle East are in large part responsible for the creation of ISIS. We equipped the terrorist rebels in the Arab Spring and left a vacuum of power in Iraq which ISIS filled. During the initial stages, instead of nipping the problem in the bud we ignored it and called them the JV team. Now the cancer has metastasized and is going to be more difficult to deal with but I don't think they are too far gone.

We will never beat ISIS if we continue to elect terrorist sympathizing foreign policy failures like what we have in this Administration. As long as we are hamstrung by political correctness and a need to elect idiots based on the color of their skin, we will have a tough fight on our hands. I don't think the ISIS fighters are all that. Their cause is not legit. They are nothing more than a bunch of raping, pillaging, murderous thugs pushing a socially and morally bankrupt theology. We can beat them at their own game...

Obama is on the wrong side of this fight and his actions have simply exacerbated our problems in the Middle East... and perhaps this is exactly what he wants to see: America on the decline and our influence in world affairs diminished. He just dropped 50 tons of supplies in to the terrorist Syrian rebels who are trying to topple Assad. Why are we propping up Islamic terrorists?!!! Russia, on the other hand is trying to prop up Assad, because they feel [rightly so!] that the alternative to him would be worse...

Every gov't we have replaced in the Middle East has been followed up by a more hardline Islamic gov't. Our track record of success is terrible. We have screwed up everything we touched over there.

Our leaders should have listened to Putin when he warned us against propping up the Syrian rebels. We SHOULD be working WITH Russia on this instead of against them!!! Russia is achieving a measure of success because they (unlike this Administration) don't feel a need to cave to political correctness.

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=5f2_ [login to see]

LiveLeak.com - Russian terror raiders attack a Mosque in Al-Rastan, during Friday prayers (Oct...

A Mosque has been struck in central Al-Rastan by the Russian terror raiders today (Oct 9th, '15)

Response by Capt Jeff S. made Oct 12 at 2015 4:53 PM 2015-10-12T16:53:37-04:00 2015-10-12T16:53:37-04:00 MAJ Ken Landgren 1035599

ISIS is the 500 pound gorilla in the region, and they are surrounding themselves with enemies.
