Do you have to stay in Sydney or can you get out of town? Do the bridge walk over the very top! Take a harbor cruise from Darling Harbor or Sydney Harbor... if you can, go on http://www.afvclub.com and check out nearby places for $53/night based on a 7 night stay. Even if you don't stay the whole week, it's a great deal. Take a boat to Manley beach, drive up the coast a few hour. Take a train across the Blue Mountain... is that enough to keep you busy??? lolol

Did I mention I was jealous??? I was in Sydney for a Cricket Test Match after Afghanistan and loved it. There is a large casino, Chinatown, artsy area (The Rocks) and sport/culture galore! Not to mention bars, restaurants and fantastic music.
