I am going into the Army NG as a combat medic, and I will be doing half of my time in the National guard and the other half as active duty, I have always wanted to be in the 82nd Airborne division, but I'm not sure if that is a division that combat medics can go into, I am aware the 82nd is an active duty unit, and I intend to try to get into it once I swap over to active duty. so, what kind of units/divisions can a combat medic be in?

Any line division, INF, AR, CAV, etc. To be in 82nd you will have to be jump qualified.

Easiest way to 82nd is being Airborne.
