UPL promotion points

I noticed today that I lost four points under resident military training for the Unit Prevention Leader course. I contacted HRC and they told me that UPL is no longer authorized points but couldn't give me a reason. He said that they keep the Yes/No list for courses at the local level and not on the HRC website. Has anyone else recently lost points for their UPL course?

Do you know how many hours the UPL course was? Sometimes if a course doesn't meet the minimum requirement of hours, it doesn't come with any promotion points.

I'll have to double check on this, I wasn't aware that UPL had dropped from the military training list.

I just went through the course and they told us that it doesn't count anymore. They had no clue why either, "Cause big Army said so" is what we got. It was definitely 40 hours. 40 long, horrible hours.

That's too bad. I'm sorry to read this. IMO that course should still count as points.

The course has been reduced to 3 days so even if you went to the 40 hour course you will not receive credit for it any longer.

Going to this course soon, what do I have to look forward to? Death by PowerPoint?
