I'm sure a few of you have gone into the RPU and used this tool. If not, pull it up, zoom in, click on a city or base, and see all the veterans in that area. I was pretty surprised to see how many veterans and SMs are in just my local area. &nbsp;<div><br></div><div>I've already used this tool to network opportunities and get introductions in the California Bay Area.&nbsp;</div><div><br><div>How would you use this tool to better assist with your TDY, move, transition, PCS or other major career event? What can we do to make it more powerful? Interested in your thoughts.&nbsp;</div></div>

I'm curious to know whether RallyPoint members would be interested in using the map to discover housing opportunities in advance of their PCS/ETS -- to include POCs that could assist with that decision process. &nbsp;It could function similar to Trulia, where as you navigate deep into a specific map area, you are shown a recommended POC for a housing leasing agent, etc. &nbsp;RallyPoint obviously has big plans for RPU and the map, so we're looking for ideas from all of you. &nbsp;Yes, we certainly have our own ideas...but we want yours.

Thanks for enabling Post Edits!!  What is going on with the "Organization Pages"?  Is there a timeline on the development road map of when this will be up?  I would like to see if Steel City Vets could use something like that here to help raise awareness of our organization and it would give us a direct link to future members.  By the way, we have RallyPoint featured on our "Connections" page at http://www.steelcityvets.com/connections

Always liked that housing idea.
How about adding a filter of local service members who want to sell/ give away uniform items?

Funny how quickly the winter weight gear sells out at Mil Clothing around December.

Might be a good idea to see if you can place markers of the locations of things like local VA Medical Clinics, VA Regional Offices, Veteran Service Organizations and things like that on the map as well. &nbsp;This would help service members who are transitioning out of the service to find helpful places to get information. &nbsp;

I think the housing assist map would be a useful tool as well, especially since we have a few members on here that are realtors as well, they could probably help with the local markets also for impending moves of members and families.
