However, I am unclear as if I need to wait until I become 20 to attend. If someone could explain the age requirement and/or hand out some advice it would be greatly appreciated. Understand the confusion about the age as it apparently differs based on the commissioning source*.

It does appear that you have to be at least 20 if you go through OCC.

If you want a definitive answer, you need to talk to a Marine recruiter.
https://rmi.marines.com/request-information

---------------------------------------
* https://www.cbirf.marines.mil/Portals/16/Officer%20Program%20Matrix%20(1).doc

Marines.com - Request for Information

Response by COL Randall C. made Nov 9 at 2022 12:45 PM 2022-11-09T12:45:03-05:00 2022-11-09T12:45:03-05:00 SP5 Peter Keane 7973048

You must be at least 18 years of age to become a commissioned officer in the Marines; Response by SP5 Peter Keane made Nov 9 at 2022 1:37 PM 2022-11-09T13:37:20-05:00 2022-11-09T13:37:20-05:00 MSgt Private RallyPoint Member 7973098

You need to contact an Officer Selection Officer (OSO) at an Officer Selection Station.
