(USMC OCS) Should I wait two years till commissioning? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/usmc-ocs-should-i-wait-two-years-till-commissioning

I'm 18 years old, hold a bachelor's degree, and meet all the required physical standards for entering marine OCS. However, I am unclear as if I need to wait until I become 20 to attend. If someone could explain the age requirement and/or hand out some advice it would be greatly appreciated. Understand the confusion about the age as it apparently differs based on the commissioning source*.

It does appear that you have to be at least 20 if you go through OCC.

If you want a definitive answer, you need to talk to a Marine recruiter.
https://rmi.marines.com/request-information

---------------------------------------
* https://www.cbirf.marines.mil/Portals/16/Officer%20Program%20Matrix%20(1).doc

Marines.com - Request for Information

COL Randall C. It drags out two years, isn't really a grunt, but isn't an officer yet. Then when he's done POOF now grad school is knocked out of the way as a new 2LT.
