Defense of 3rd party is equal to defense of self ... but only if you get it right (eg defending the true vic as opposed to defending the perp who just happens to be getting their ass kicked)

I can't imagine that a pregnant female could be the perp in this case .. but you never know ...

Different states have different laws about this however as long as having the gun is legal then it really does not matter if he is disabled. He came to the defense of a person not capable of defending herself during which time he was put into jeapardy of being seriously hurt by an overwhelming force thus justifying the use of his legal firearm.
