Veteran on Veteran violance??? Why does this have to happen?

Ran across this article of an Air Force Veteran verbally (written) attacked by another presumably veteran, so sad to see this. I found it interesting that the author of the note wrote "wounded veteran" as if being wounded in combat is what is required to be a veteran. I also thought that serving your country honorably is what was required to be a veteran.
With all the violance out there in the world, you would think us veterans would stick together!

Sir, it doesn't have to happen and as I see it maybe the two you are talking about need really to be looked at as veterans. Sure a lot of us disagree and sometimes it goes a little overboard, but I don't personally feel extreme verbal or physical abuse is ever neccessary between true vets, it is far better just to agree to disagree and move on to something else both have in common. The hostilities we face from the outside world should be enough for any of us.

There appears to be a bit of classism when it comes to veterans. Combat wounded vs combat vs POG vs never deployed vs Cold War vs whatever else discriminator you can come up with.
