I had great experiences in both. I don't consider myself more of one than the other but I probably relate more to the Coast Guard than the Army at this point simply because I served in that last. But I am proud of the service in both. I'm very much a proponent of "Once a Marine, always a Marine" but the Army has been a better fit for me. More opportunities, etc. So if I had to pick just one I'd have to side with the Army. But I still credit my time in the Marine Corps for building the foundation that has led to my success in the Army. Plus, it's fun to tell people in the Army that I'm a prior service Marines and see the "Oh crap" look on their face.
