Vinyl family stickers...what do you think of them? Seen any funny alternatives?

Don't get me wrong nothing against being proud of family. I just have always seen it as broadcasting too much info about your family. To me this is giving a evil doer info. So I would rather display a different family sticker. This is not on my vehicle but, like it.

I agree which is why I don't put any stickers on my truck, unless it's a required one like post decal, inspection sticker. To me, all of this information just advertises what a person may have or be at. The biggest ones I don't like are the "Half my heart is in Iraq". Really? A criminal just needs to see that, carefully follow the person home, then...

This is an age-old issue. Back in '83 I was stationed in Orlando NTC (now closed). One of many briefs we received was how thieves, etc. tracked families through stickers related to school (my kid is a terrific kid at Blah Blah elementary) and specifically how military members were targeted through rank stickers, etc.

I think ppl in general share to much 20yrs ago b4 the big computer/internet/app booms kicked out no one really knew who we are except through bbq's; functions; reunions. Social media is a disaster recipe for atttacks the intent fo rit is good but its liek anything you cant get a little pregnant or fat just take the pill or stop eating so much. Dont advertise your whole life just what you want ppl to know. Twitter/FB/Instagram all terrorists and perpetrator feeding sites

I have no stickers on my vehicle. Its not that I am not proud of my family / accomplishments, however, as stated by many others it gives information out that if you don’t know me you don’t need to know. Just as in the military you have things that are classified and others that are unclassified but sensitive, My family and my personnel beliefs are sensitive to me. I do not need some crazed lunatic trying to gun my wife down for our newborn baby, or some pervert trying to take advantage of my 16 y/o daughter. And even the gun stickers, if you have the balls to come into my house or follow my wife home I don’t want you to know what’s waiting for you. It might deter some and others might see it as a challenge but if you walk into my house unwanted there will be surprises awaiting and I am not going to advertise what that might entail.

I am not against family, I am not against advertising your gun rights, I am not against supporting the military, police, firefighters, or any other organization. I support all of them as well but if you want to know what I stand for get to know me otherwise you’re going to get "surprised"
