Vision test and glasses at BCT

When I go through reception at basic do I need to wear glasses if I don't do well? I don't need them, but I'm just worried I will have to.

My vision isn't as good as it once was and I'm nervous that I will have to wear them even though I don't have to now.

If you're concerned about your vision, SGT Private RallyPoint Member, by all means wear your glasses. If you don't need them for most tasks, maybe you could store them in a pocket until you need to put them on for the tasks that require you to wear glasses. Also, just having them readily available will eliminate that nervousness/worry.

Your question does not make any logical sense, SGT Private RallyPoint Member. If you don't need glasses, then why would you be concerned about failing the vision test?
