If you have an interest in managing, go MP Officer route; but if you have an interest in being an investigator, go CID. It's the most rewarding job ever (I'm biased) I started out as an MP and after five years became an agent and never regretted my move. US Army CID Command has their own web page or visit your post, camp or station CID officer to learn more.
