How long should it take to receive a SEB?

My husband PV2(active) submitted his SEB paperwork 10 weeks ago, confirmation from his Captain 6 weeks ago that he fulfilled his portion, no log of it at DMPO 4 weeks ago, S1’s only information was “I submitted it” but no visual confirmation. He was warned to keep his eye on progress/lack there of.

Are we getting ahead of ourselves thinking progress should have been made? We really were anticipating it by now, perhaps foolishly.

If you're referring to his enlistment bonus, that happens all the time. Usually, the issue is that the Soldier fails to turn in one of the documents and after a month or two it gets kicked back from finance.

Just wanted to come back & say thank you to everyone that responded and upvoted so my post was seen more.

Turns out that my husband was given the wrong list of papers to turn in by someone in their training room.

She had us gather: 4/1-3, annex A & B, copy of orders, certificate of completion, awarded MOS, PCS orders.

All would have been well except: The photo copies made were cut off (I had no idea, husband should have been more careful), there was no use for Annex B, and they did not need copy of orders, awarded MOS, or his certificate of completion. We instead needed DD1966.

Since 10 weeks ago we have asked for a list of what was needed in a formal format. Every list given has been different. Hooah!
