Waiting for results of MEPS consult. How long does it take?

I've been trying to go back on active duty for about 3 months now. I took the ASVAB again, went to MEPS, and had to do a consult this time for PRK that I had before I joined the Navy the first time. I completed the consult a little over a month ago, and I have no updates. My recruiter says it can take 3-6 months for them to review that consult. That doesn't seem right. Does anyone have any suggestions on who to talk to at MEPS?

PO2 Max Power That may be correct. Just keep checking with your recruiter.

I've been waiting 4 months for mine and counting (Navy). When I joined the Army, I had to get a MEPS consult done (for the same thing), but there it was approved within a week. I guess it's a different timetable for each service.
